SPRIIIIIIIIIING! Stiiiiiiing? Nah! Wild stinging nettles are an awesome, nutrient-dense green that shout health and springtime! Spring into the sting-- harvest nettles with gloves on to ensure minimal numbing sensations from the underbelly of this deeply earthy, rich wild SUPERFOOD! Don't worry, the sting is neutralized upon blending, blanching, sauteeing, or steaming. This Nettle-Pecan Pesto amps up the color and flavor of any pasta dish, havin' your bod screamin' for joy with every bite!

 ingredients: 2 cups stinging nettles leaves, packed 1 cup basil leaves, packed 1/4 cup Hemp Seeds 1/2 cup Pecan Butter 3 tablespoons lemon juice 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 2 medium cloves garlic, coarsely chopped 1 T Maple Crystals (optional to round out flavors) to create: 1. Blanch nettle leaves, squeeze out excess moisture with cloth towel. 2. Process all ingredients thoroughly in a food processor until desired consistency (chunky or smooth? make the pesto of your dreams, honeychild!). 3. Top your favorite pasta shape, gnocchi potato dumplings, crostini, toast..... 4. Shout, "HELLO, SPRING!" and dance.
