Vegan Creamy Tomato Sauce


Ingredients: 
  • 1 25 oz jar of tomato sauce
  • 8 oz cashew butter
  • 2/3 cup nut milk
  • 2/3 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pound pasta~ cooked al dente
  •  black or crushed pepper to taste
  • chopped and sauteed onion and garlic (optional)

Instructions:

  • Combine sauce ingredients in blender and blend on high 
  • Sauté onions and garlic
  • Cool pasta al dente 
  • Sauce pasta + heat in pot altogether 

Top with herbs and crushed red pepper if you like! Serve and enjoy!
