These Turmeric-infused, Cacao Frosted Golden Nuggets are as delicious as they look! Loaded with the anti-inflammatory power of turmeric and muscle (and mind!!) soothing magic of Cacao and Coconut, you might want to double this recipe to savor and save-r for later!
Cacao Frosted Golden Nuggets
1 cup Jungle Peanuts
1 cup coconut flakes
1 cup medjool dates, pitted
1 tsp. Golden Turmeric
pinch Pure Vanilla Powder
Cacao Frosting
1/2 cup Cacao Paste
2 T maple syrup
pinch Pure Vanilla Powder
to create:
1. Blend medjool dates in a food processor into a paste.
2. Add coconut flakes, Jungle Peanuts, Pure Vanilla Powder, and Golden Turmeric to food processor and pulse to desired texture.
3. Form into bars or spheres, put on parchment paper-lined baking sheet, and set in freezer.
4. To make the Cacao Frosting: In a double boiler, gently melt Cacao Paste with maple syrup and Pure Vanilla Powder until thoroughly melted.
5. Spread frosting on top of nuggets, top with additional Jungle Peanuts or coconut flakes if desired, and SPREAD THE LOVE!
