This COLORFUL dish is absolutely gorgeous and a delight for the senses!
Ingredients
1 package soba noodles
1 tsp blue butterfly pea powder
1 TBSP tamari or soy sauce
1 TBSP toasted sesame oil
1 TBSP rice vinegar
1/2 package of firm tofu
star shaped veggie cutter
1 TBSP turmeric powder
3 TBSP high heat oil for frying
Sprinkle of sesame seeds
:::METHOD:::
1. Bring 5 cups of water to a boil in medium sized pot
2. Whisk in Blue butterfly pea flower powder
3. Add soba noodles and cook per instruction
4. Strain noodles + then mix with tamari, rice vinegar, and sesame oil
5. Star cut tofu
6. Heat a small frying pan and add the frying oil
7. Mix in Turmeric powder
8. Fry tofu stars for a few minutes on each side
9. Plate up your colorful noodles, sprinkle on sesame seeds or gomasio and ENJOY your beautiful creation!!
