Heirloom Pumpkin Seed-Cacao Frosted Delights

 

  ingredients: (Pumpkin Seed Layer) 1 1/2 cups Oregon Pumpkin Seeds OR Austrian Pumpkin Seeds 1/2 cup medjool dates, pitted 1 T raw honey 1 T Coconut Oil 2 T Mesquite Powder pinch Pure Vanilla Powder, sea salt (Cacao) 5-6 Cacao Paste wafers 2 T raw honey pinch Pure Vanilla Powder to create: 1. Blend all Pumpkin Seed Layer ingredients together. Press into parchment lined pan evenly. Put in freezer. 2. In a double boiler, gently melt Cacao and honey for Cacao layer. Add a pinch of vanilla once it is thoroughly melted, spread on top of Pumpkin Seed glory, and store in freezer to harden for at least 1 hour. Sprinkly seeds on top for aesthetic points and level ups, etc. 3. Cut into squares or other odd-square-like shapes…and… pump it up!!
