Oh, quinoa and cacao,
a match made in the clouds, WOW!
With a subtle hint of espresso...
a tasty hit for the brain: ka-POW!
ingredients:
3/4 cup quinoa, cooked and cooled
1 3/4 cup dates
1/4 cup Almond Butter
1 cup Cashew Butter
1/3 cup Cacao Powder
8 coffee beans, blended
1/4 cup Hemp Seeds
Pinch of Himalayan Salt
to create:
1. Process cashews, quinoa, and coffee beans to dough-like consistency.
2. Add all other ingredients, except walnuts, until thoroughly mixed.
3. Incorporate chopped walnuts.
4. Press into pan (lined with parchment) and keep refrigerated.. cut to order! You can roll these up and make truffles, cut into rectangles for brownies, circles for cookies... the shape is insignificant.. 'tis the TASTE that will never be forgotten!
