Ooey Gooey Decadent Pecan Pie

Cookie Crust

1 1/2 C almond flour

2 TBSP coconut flour or GF flour blend

1/4 C maple syrup

1/3 C meted coconut oil



1/3 C maple syrup

1/4 C coconut sugar

1/4 C coconut oil

1/2 C coconut cream (top of the coconut milk can)

Pinch of salt

1 TBSP kuzu root starch (or use arrowroot)

2 Cups pecans



  1. In a medium sized bowl, combine crust ingredients + mix well
  2. Press into 9 inch pie pan
  3. Bake for 12 min at 350 degrees
  4. In a medium sized pot, combine maple syrup, coconut sugar, coconut oil, and coconut cream
  5. Cook + stir on stovetop on medium heat for 5 min
  6. Add kuzu root starch powder and whisk for another moment
  7. Add pecans and stir well
  8. Pour over crust
  9. Bake for 20 min at 350 degrees
  10. Remove from oven and let cool completely
  11. Chill to set about one hour or more
  12. Enjoy!!!!
