Ooey Gooey Decadent Pecan Pie 🥧

🌱INGREDIENTS 🌱
Cookie Crust
1 1/2 C almond flour
2 TBSP coconut flour or GF flour blend
1/4 C maple syrup
1/3 C meted coconut oil
Filling
1/3 C maple syrup
1/4 C coconut sugar
1/4 C coconut oil
1/2 C coconut cream (top of the coconut milk can)
Pinch of salt
1 TBSP kuzu root starch (or use arrowroot)
2 Cups pecans
🌱METHOD🌱
- In a medium sized bowl, combine crust ingredients + mix well
- Press into 9 inch pie pan
- Bake for 12 min at 350 degrees
- In a medium sized pot, combine maple syrup, coconut sugar, coconut oil, and coconut cream
- Cook + stir on stovetop on medium heat for 5 min
- Add kuzu root starch powder and whisk for another moment
- Add pecans and stir well
- Pour over crust
- Bake for 20 min at 350 degrees
- Remove from oven and let cool completely
- Chill to set about one hour or more
