This raw mixture tastes seeeeeriously like Brownie Batter! You can skip the Cacao Frosting if ye just want to dig into the batter...turn 'em into truffles! Otherwise, the Cacao Frosting pumps these up, transforming them into a new whirled of Cacao Bliss! To make these more decadent, sub gently melted Cacao Paste for Cacao Powder...feel the powa!!!
Jungle Peanut-Kale Brownie "Batter"
2 cups medjool dates, pitted
1 cup Jungle Peanuts
1 cup Oregon Hazelnuts (or more Jungle Peanuts, Almonds, Pecans, or Cashews)
6 T Cacao Powder
(optional) 1 T maple maple syrup
1 T Kale Powder
Cacao Frosting
2 T Coconut Oil or raw butter
1/2 Cacao Powder
1 T maple syrup or raw sweetener
pinch Pure Vanilla Powder
flakes of sea salt, Cacao Nibs, and a sprinkle of Kale Powder, for garnish
to create:
1. Blend all "Batter" ingredients together in a food processor.
2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
3. Press the "dough" in to the pan evenly. Set in freezer.
4. To make the Cacao Frosting, gently melt ingredients in a double boiler. Spread evenly on top of the solid brownies, garnish with the goods, and set back in freezer for 30 minutes.
5. Cut into squares and spread the looooove!
