This year we went to battle with some late season coughs and sore throats in our family. We needed potent vitamin C dosing, something soothing for the throat and immune system boosting. I was seeking a natural medicine that even my three year old would want to take, without added junk or sugar. A friend suggested we make lozengers using honey and coconut oil as a base. These superberry magic bombs were fun and surprisingly easy to make. We didn’t have to do any cooking at high heat which would deplete the potency of the herbs, and they were ready to eat in minutes! My son asks for his lozenger every morning and savors it like candy. Feel free to add or substitute any herbs you love, as long as you have the honey and coconut oil to bind them together, it will work.
