ingredients: Salted Maca Caramel
- 1 cup medjool dates
- 1/2 cup peanuts, out of the shell (do not blend)
- 2 T Raw Almond Butter
- 1 T Gelatinized or Raw Maca Powder
- pinch sea salt
- pinch Pure Vanilla Powder
For Layering:
- Raw Cacao Nibs coconut flakes or shreds
- Cacao Topping:
- 1/2 cup Raw Cacao Paste
- 2 T raw honey
- 1 T Coconut Oil
- pinch Pure Vanilla Powder
to create:
1. Blend Salted Maca Caramel ingredients (except peanuts) in a food processor. Mix with peanuts in a bowl.
2. Press Caramel into a parchment-lined pan. Sprinkle with Cacao Nibs and Coconut Shreds. Transfer to freezer while you make the Cacao Topping.
3. In a double boiler, gently melt the Cacao Topping ingredients. Pour carefully over the Salted Maca-Peanut Caramel base…set in freezer for at least 5 minutes to let the shell harden…and.. INITIATE SMILES AND BELLY GRUMBLES!
