ingredients: Crust:
1 large squash, sliced
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup Almond Butter or Walnuts
1/2 onion, halved
juice of 1 lemon or 4 T lemon juice
fresh herbs or dried (chives, oregano, basil, parsley)--at least 2 cups fresh!
1 T EVOO
salt and peppa, red peppa flakes
2 T Chia Seeds + FOR TOPPINGS: Eggplant Bacon and Almond Raw-Cotta (click for recipes) + other fresh veggies to create: 1. In a food processor, whiz up all Crust ingredients. It may be a little watery, so I hung it in cheese cloth for 3 hours and squeezed it a little to exude out the water. 2. Shape into a crust form on dehydrator tray, and dehydrate for 6 hours or until dry, but not crisp.
3. Top with Raw-Cotta, Eggplant Bacon, and other veggie delight tidbits! 4. Dehydrate an additional 2-4 hours. 5. Slice it up and DIG IN!! Herbacious, fresh, light, full-bodied flavas to nourish your belly and soul!
